In its mission statement, Oak Ridge High School envisions itself as “part of a learning community united in its commitment to ensuring that all students graduate with confidence and competence.” The school is dedicated to providing an educational environment where students will recognize that education is not received, but achieved, and where they will strive to achieve their highest level of academic achievement. Oak Ridge High School is home to two CISD magnet programs, The Academy of Science and Technology and The Air Force Junior ROTC. Montgomery College • The University Center
Montgomery College and The University Center, both located on College Park Drive just west of I-45, allow residents of Imperial Oaks easy access to quality higher education. The college, a part of the North Harris Community College District, offers associate programs that prepare students for entry into the workforce or continuing on to a four-year degree program.
